Election application form

The advance application period for the 2026 Maanmittarikilta elections is now open and will remain open until Tuesday, 6 November, at 11:00 p.m. You can apply using the form below.

The application process works as follows:

  1. Familiarise yourself with the Maanmittarikilta board and officer positions. You can find more information about the roles here.
  2. Fill in the application form below by Tuesday, 6 November, at 11:00 p.m. Applications for positions available during the extended application period can be submitted until 29 November at 11:00 p.m.
  3. Complete the election questionnaire sent to you by email. Use the questionnaire to submit your answers to the preliminary questions, a short introduction about yourself, and a photograph of yourself.
  4. Answer any questions you receive during the election period. The current Chair, Iiris, will forward any questions to you via Telegram.
  5. Attend the election meeting on Wednesday, 9 November. Attendance is not mandatory, but the meeting is a great opportunity to introduce yourself to fellow guild members in addition to answering the election questions. The election meeting is also a chance to follow the proceedings and have a say in the composition of next year’s guild leadership, so we strongly encourage everyone to attend, even if they are not applying for positions that will be elected at the meeting.
