Do you also think HSL tickets are a bit too pricey? No worries, because you can bike from Keilaniemi to Itäkeskus instead 😍 On the way, we’ll enjoy the sight of trams passing by every few minutes, just to make sure we don’t forget the price of the single tickets we saved 🤑
The route is approximately 52 km in total. However, it’s very beginner-friendly because joining for just part of the route is unusually easy 😎
You can head home via commuter train or metro, or join in along the way at approximately:

at 18 km in Oulunkylä
at 26 km in Itäkeskus
at 34 km in Oulunkylä

at 52 km in Keilaniemi
We’ll ride at a relaxed 15–18 km/h which is totally doable even on grandpa’s old velocipede or an Alepa city bike 👴🏼🚲
We’ll also stop for snacks (and snack shopping) multiple times along the way, so the ride is all about chill vibes and good energy 🍫🥪
