Annual ball and foreign excursion masters recruitment for 2025
The Guild of Surveying Engineers is looking for new annual ball masters for the guild’s 124. Anniversary and also foreign excursion masters to organize guild’s foreign excursion. Both positions offer you great opportunities to organize the most awesome and biggest events the guild has to offer. Application period for the positions is now open.
Annual ball masters (2 persons)
Annual ball masters are going to organize the guild’s biggest event Kevätpäiväntasaus next March. The annual ball consists of the cocktail party, the main event, the after-party and the sillis. As the annual ball master, you get a chance to plan all these fascinating parts of the annual ball. Annual ball masters will also form a committee later this autumn to help them organizing the annual ball. Foreign excursion masters (2 persons)
Foreign excursion masters will organize the guild’s foreign excursion (also known as UVP). UVP has been last organized in 2024, 2023, 2022, 2017 and 2018. As a foreign excursion master, you will get a chance to plan and choose where the guild is traveling next year! Foreign excursion masters will also form a committee later this autumn to help them to organize UVP. How to apply?
Pre-application for the positions is now open, and will remain open until the Guild’s autumn meeting. It is also possible to apply for the positions at the meeting. The application form below will be used to apply. The application includes an A4-size pdf file in which the applicant presents his/her party or travel inspiration in a free-form format. If you are applying with a friend, you can attach a joint file to your application. However, each person applies for the job as a tour guide with his or her own application.
The masters for both positions will be elected at the Guild’s autumn meeting, which will be held no later than the beginning of October at a date to be announced. Apply below!
