Is your autumn missing some adventure? Craving interdisciplinary vibes or a change from the familiar landscapes of Otaniemi?

You don’t have to face the autumn darkness alone, because soon environmental engineering students from all over Finland will gather for the most eventful of all events; Environmental teekkari days (Ymppäpäivät)!

This year, the legendary spectacle takes place in Oulu from October 30 to November 1. Get ready for an unforgettable weekend with just the right mix of partying and networking. On Thursday, we’ll dive into Oulu’s student culture and meet fellow enviro-buddies from across the country. Friday kicks off with a seminar, followed by a local checkpoint crawl, and the evening is crowned, of course, with sitsis! The event wraps up on Saturday with the traditional herring breakfast (sillis) 👑

Ymppäpäivät is the perfect chance to connect with students in the field from all corners of Finland, catch up with old friends, and make new ones. Participants are coming from Otaniemi, Lappeenranta, Tampere, and Oulu.

We’ll head out together by train from Helsinki on Thursday midday, returning south late Saturday night. The price of the trip will depend on the number of participants, but will be a maximum of €80.

Everyone is welcome at Ymppäpäivät regardless of major or year of study! Whether you’re a fuksi or an oldie, if you’re into good vibes, this event is for you 🐛🐛
